Summary

Although I'm not an expert at tabletop games, the concept shares many similarities with the classic JRPG or even most modern "Triple A" RPGs in general (which typically have some sort of character skill chart). But even without an extensive background playing games, understanding the main character, Erich, and his abilities come naturally. Each book comes with exciting adventures, each filled with their own unique characters and races with a fleshed out world that continues to expand on itself with differing and believable traits, with lore that makes you want to find out more about the world Erich finds himself in. Seriously, its a great read and there's 9 books to boot! It doesn't seem like the author's stopping anytime soon so buckle in and get to reading!

Miscellaneous

The first book in the series acts more of a prologue to the entire series, with nearly the entire book dedicated to world-building and introducing mechanics and characters. Although interesting, it might throw some people off, especially if you're looking for an immediate action-packed adventure. And although there's some elements of romance in the series, they really don't focus on it too much, especially since Erich is still so young (as of the 5th book, he's still in his early teens!) So if you're looking for pure slop brainrot harem OP adventure, this might not be a story you're looking for; but make sure you give it a try anyways cause you might fall in love with the world just as much as I have.
